Most Don't Know This: A Climate Security Case Study - Tornados

This week, we're taking a closer look at climate security and its impact on extreme weather events. In particular, we're examining a comparison of tornado occurrences in the Southeastern United States during El Nino and La Nina events during the Winter months (Dec-Mar). Note the significant locational shift of events that decision-makers need to be aware of months in advance. This is impactful information that can help us prepare for the future and mitigate the risks associated with extreme weather events.
